Most if not all laptops have a VGA port. There may also be a DVI and/or S-Video out port.

You need to find out what outputs your computer has and what inputs your TV has, and buy an appropriate cable.

again, disregard the idiot Rudy.. You need a HDMI input.there are two kinds, the kind that your DVD player uses, or this kind : http://newscenter.verizon.com/kit/nfl/dvi-hdmi-com...

The big ugly end goes into your computer, and then thin end goes into the tv, or if your computer doesnt have the big ugly input, it might have this:http://www.hometheatermag.com/images/archivesart/1... In this case, buy a cable that looks like: http://www.jdr.com/interact/..%5Cimages%5Cproducts...

    Go to <www.svideo.com>

At this site, they display all Connection / Cables / and Configurations, As well, they show an on-line Instructional video.

    Good Luck
