dell notebook laptops difficulties!!!!?

so i just got a new dell notebook laptop and for the life of me i cant figure out how to make one of my pictures as my backgroung please help!!!

    Right-click the picture and click "Set as background".

    If you are running Windows XP, you will have to switch the folder's view to thumbnails to get that option in the right-click context menu.

    right click on the desktop and click set as desktop.
