What should I 'name' my medals?
I have like, 30 trophies, somethin number of medals in my room and a couple hundred (or thousand even ) certificates (ya know, certificate of participation etc). So i want to keep track of all of them, like giving them I.D's or names that represent whatever they were for. Unfortunately, i forgot what some of them are for and i just want cool names. Any suggestion would be nice. Although i don't want nostalgic names that 'take you back to the past and the good old days when i won it'. Im only in 7th grade, it wast that far back. i just want cool suggestion.
Thank you for looking ad a big thnx for answering!

I think you should name them after your heroes. For example, I'm a gymnast so my medals would be Svetlana, Dominique, Cheng Fei, Daiane, Lyudmilla, etc, after famous gymnasts. If you like science you could name them after Nobel Prize winners. If you like stand up comedy, you could name them after bodily functions.

First do no longer polish or shine the medals as you harm the age previous patina that builds up besides as polish away the definition. eliminate the ribbons, wash the medal in a smooth answer of warm temperature water and washing-up liquid, use an previous worn teeth brush to eliminate any airborne dirt and mud or filth. Dry with paper towel or gentle cloth. previous ribbons won't be able to be wiped clean, because the unique dyes will run and be ruined, you are able to opposite them, or acquire present day replacements. The Inter-Allied Victory Medal hangs from a rainbow colored ribbon, this medal makes use of a round ribbon ring as hostile to a broach/bar ribbon installation. you do not aspect out what the different medals are, yet in the WW1 era their must be a silver British war Medal, this too must be allowed to maintain its unique patina, again a wash and brush up will suffice.Dry with a paper towel or very gentle cloth the different uncomplicated medal stumbled on in the sequence is the 1914 "Mons time-honored human being" or the 1914-1915 time-honored human being, the first presented to men in the B.E.F. in the early days of the war, the so observed as "previous Contemptible." this hangs from a blue, white, purple ribbon. If exhibiting as a set the first medal in the row taking off on the left as you seem at them must be the Mons time-honored human being or the 1914/15 medal, observed by technique of the silver British war Medal, and then the British Inter-Allied Victory Medal. The recipients information, huge style, Rank, call Unit, will be stamped on the again of the Mons time-honored human being 1914/15 medal, the rim of the British war Medal and the rim of the Inter-Allied Victory Medal. The medals boxed framed with a image and the call of the recipient and his rank and unit below the medals in the back of glass seems wonderful, yet opt for an section to reveal out of direct sunlight and continuously take care with regards the products being on view to ability burglars. If lost you won't be able to get replacements.

i agree with the first person who answered...you should name them after famous people depending on the trophies...for example, im a softball player, so my medals/certificates/trophies..etc would be named Jennie, Michele, Dot, Monica, Megan, etc...famous softball players...or if you won like perfect attendance or something (i dont really know) you can name it the mascot of your school or something. for the participation certificates, then you should give them nicknames that you like or think are cool....for example, bubblez, blossom, buttercup (lol...powerpuff girlz) or you could name them simple names that you can remember like bob, bill, fred, jim, dan, etc....just some examples but seriously you could also name them the thing that you participated in for example if you participated in like a spelling bee, then you might want to name it Beebee or something....i dont really know just listing some examples hope this helps in any way possible....^_^

Quite frankly, if you don't remember what they were for, you should probably get rid of them. Something like a trophy is only of use if it invokes a good memory. Otherwise, it's just a dust collector, only there so you can 'show off'.
Keep the ones that mean something, but your mom will probably appreciate if you reduce the number of things she need to dust.
