No, I don't think it's weird. Not to be corny, but age is just a number. You think he's cute, and he thinks you're cute. Plus, it's only a one-year difference. Maybe (if you do end up going out) it'll be a little strange at first, but give it a shot. I'm not into younger guys, but (I hope this doesn't make me a horrible person for saying this) that's only because I'm afraid of what dating a younger guy will do to my reputation. If you like a guy, it shouldn't matter what grade he's in...even though I don't even take my own advice.

Where do people find these guys? Everyone around here is so pressed and would never do something random and fun like that. I have no experience with dating and such, but if he's chill I don't see how one year'd be a problem.

Nah, it's only by a year. When he's 18 and you're 19 you'll both be adults and it won't seem so weird.
