Howcome lesbians like to dress like boys?
Short hair, boys jeans, boys shoes, tee shirt or button shirt sometimes with a tie....you know the look.
Yes, I'm generalizing of course. Not ALL lesbians dress like boys. I'm gay and I know many, many, many lesbians and I think that maybe 2% are 'lipstick lesbians' and the rest are pretty butch. This is just a personal observation, not meant to be offensive.
Yes, it's a stereotype, but as repulsive as some stereotypes are - they are rooted in reality. Do you guys really think that most lesbians DON'T dress like guys?

Everyone has the chance to dress however they choose; if one feels comfortable in mens clothing then why should you--or anyone else--judge them for dressing that way? I am opposed to stereotypes but since you have decided to categorize lesbians I will explain it in a stereotypical way. What I believe you are mentioning are the "dyke", "butch", "bull", etc lesbians. Sure, the way they dress fall into the stereotype that you have defined, however, if a straight woman dressed identically to your type of lesbian, would you then assume that she is a lesbian solely based on the articles of clothing she feels comfortable in?
It is best not to categorize and stereotype any type of person due to the fact that while you may be making an assumption on what you believe is common knowledge or flawless proof, you can still be terribly wrong. For example, I have broad shoulders that are made to look more broad in womans clothing, thus I wear mens. I have short hair because it is what I enjoy and my style. While I may still be a lesbian, does the way I dress or the cut of my hair determine or broadcast such? Only if one subscribes to stereotypes.

Some women are very feminine and some are very masculine and a great many are somewhere in between. The same thing goes for men. This has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
Masculinity and femininity is a separate concept from biological gender as well as sexual orientation.
Ever heard of the term "tomboy" before? I know plenty of straight girls who don't like wearing dresses or makeup and like sports. I also know lesbians who are as girly as can be.

I dress like that. And don't worry i'm not offended:) I just think that guys clothes are more comfortable and i'm always really active and i guess i just personally like it better than all that tight, short, uncomfortable stuff that some other girls wear.

I'll answer that when you tell me why boys often have short hair and wear jeans, tennis shoes, T-shirts or button shirts sometimes with a tie- you know, that look.

You mean, 'How come some*** lesbians like to dress like boys?'
Because they can, because they feel comfortable, because they feel it's what makes them attractive, etc. Really, it's in every individual's case. Not really anyone's concern but their own and those who think tomboys and butchies are hot.

the androgynous look is attractive to some
