Question about Yahoo home/news page?
Guess I'm not too smart but I gotta ask. When I click on a news article (let's say Asociated Press) from the Yahoo home page, there are options to e-mail it, etc. There are no options to read or add comments on the story; only a box that says "BUZZ UP". If I click and log in, it lets me post a comment... then... off to la-la-land.
How can I read the comments of others (or, my own comment). What the heck does Buzz Up mean if it doesn't do anything?? Maybe I'm too old to be playing Yahoo. Thanks to anyone with a serious answer.

If you scroll to the very bottom of the news story, it should allow you to make comments. Mine does. You may have to be signed in to your email account to do that, though.
BuzzUp is simply a social trending thing, like Twitter. It means somebody 'buzzed' the story to make it more popular. If a person has their profile set to post updates of their status -- and other people have theirs set to receive them, this 'update' probably shows up someplace to make them aware of it. Kind of like nudging your husband (or wife) on the sofa and saying: Hey, did you see this story about . . . ?
Useless, but apparently the latest 'essential' part of our new cybersocial society. PS: I'm almost 60 -- and this turn of events fills me with foreboding for the future of mankind as we know it. Pretty soon, the kids will only know how to text, buzz and twitter -- and how are we ever going to have more children that way? LOL!
