And that's pretty okay. While your kids may not think of you as a friend, they will respect you.

You know that kids need discipline and structure, and you're not afraid to give it to them.

Just be careful that your strictness doesn't lead to rebellion.

It's good to have standards and rules, but you don't need to have an iron fist when enforcing them.

the trouble with these kind of questionnaires is that .. the normal tendency is to choose the option that sounds most right than what we would actually do if we were in the situation .. to truly test someone s/he needs to be IN the system and not just evaluating it from outside :)

LOL at the question that said your kid insulted a teacher, but you have to admit the insult was pretty funny and witty. That happens to me all the time with my older son. Not insulting a teacher, but he often comes up with inappropriate stuff that is pretty funny. I have to leave the room and laugh then come back and ground him.

i would be an azzhole parent and the kids would follow the rules or be locked in their room with bread and water , i am not effing kidding you, just test me and i will show you. and it is not for your own good, it is for my sick twisted enjoyment... just kidding , it is for your own good and you are not going to like it , i am not your best friend, whatever BS you want to pull i have been there and done it and i will stop you at every turn.
