Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Question?

As the guy above me had said Stardust is not brought back for the exact same reasons that he has listed.

As for the god cards seeing as how there are now legal versions of them with actual effects i will answer that half of your question.

Yes you may activate Swords of Concealing Light, Swords of Revealing Light, Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force etc... to affect Obelisk the Tormentor when he is the only monster on your opponents side of the field. This is due to the fact that Obelisk the Tormentor is only unaffected by effects that would "target" him, not affects that affect the entire field / cards on his side of the field *including him*.

In all only cards that say target dont affect Obelisk.

anything that doesn't target obelisk directly can work on him.

like lightning vortex.

i'd actually even say magic cylinder would work because it doesn't say target the card and effects his atk not obelisk him self.

Stardust is not brought back, since he has to be brought back from the graveyard. (specifically states 'you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during the End Phase.' and he is NOT in the graveyard)

As for Obelisk, I don't know about the God Cards as they're not legal in Tourny's, so I don't know much about them.
