Will UPS leave my package at the fornt door if I put a note on my door to do so?
I missed my package yesterday by a few minutes. I have seen where other people have tapped notes next to or on their front door asking that packages be left on the the front porch. Does this work, or will they just take the package and attempt another delivery the next day?

to anon: The note says that they will be three attempts to deliver..I have called and I can have the option to pick it up, but I dont have too, but if there is a last attempt I will. Thanks!

as long because of the fact the equipment would not require a "direct signature" the place they must see you sign you could merely pass away a notice on the door. I merely write, "UPS- it incredibly is authorization to pass away the equipment from xxxxxx exterior my front door. thank you, Me" and that i've got on no account had a situation.
