What kind of fruit is this?
I have a fruit that was given to my by a colleague and I have never seen it before. She doesn't remember what it was, but she bought it at an Asian fruit market.
It is oval shaped and green skinned. Inside it is white flesh, with a large pit inside. It kind of tastes like a cross between an apple and a pear.
Does anyone know what it is? I don't have a picture - it was eaten before I could take one.
I know it is not an avocado or a green mango, I have had both of those several times.
This tastes like a cross between an apple and a pear. You eat it like them, you can eat the skin.

The only fruit I can remember is green Mango. it only has the large pit and is available in asian markets only.

A PEAR idk ask your local grocer or farmers market look up on the internet or even better ask a asian
