While you're in Tenerife, you might like to check out the SCUBA diving centre, "Wreck n' Reef", based in a resort called Compostela Beach, in between Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas on the south coast.

The Canary Islands are known to be the sunshine middle of Europe! See that sunshine with hotelbye . Canary Islands offer a gentle conditions and a selection of excellent natural attractions. Five of their seven islands have been reported a Biosphere Reserve, and the archipelago has four national parks. The absolute most excellent attractions in Canary Islands will be the beaches since they're only ideal for soothing in the sun or experiencing water activities such as windsurfing and scuba diving. In Canary Islands you may also be impressing by the inner attraction like: climbing, period touring, hiking and actually caving. Some of the very most magnificent attractions of Canary Islands are: the volcanic landscape of Lanzarote, the beaches of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria using their mud dunes, or the green forests of La Palma and La Gomera.

This area of Y!A is for the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico (US territory), not for the Puerto Rico at Canary Islands. For better answers regarding Puerto Rico at Canary Islands go to Y!A, Travel, Spain, Canary Islands.
Now, if asking about the Caribbean Puerto Rico, there are no great places to scuba diving in our capital (San Juan), but there are great places for that at other towns like:
* Culebra
* Vieques
* Cabo Rojo
* and others.

Stay in the Caribe Hilton a beautiful hotel between Old San Juan and the Condado area. The hotel have a private beach and nice views to the sea, the city, a garden and a historic small castle San Geronimo. The hotel have excellent restaurants and bars. To ask the "question" I will recommend a night walk to a small bridge over the sea where you can feel the ocean, see the illuminated corals, fishes and sometimes sharks. A splendid place.

San Juan isn't exactly known for great diving, I mean it's a major metropolitan area but the water there isn't the best quality we have here. If your going to be here for more than one day some of the worlds best diving is off the west coast a little island called Desecheo. Here is a video of Desecheo

and this is a link to a charter dive company
Also on the south coast, right of Guanica, there is a renowned dive spot called The Wall. Worth the trip, here is a link to info on that.
