what is your favorite time to read?

I really love late night and early morning when everyone else around me is asleep, it's a very peaceful time because I feel like I'm alone with the characters in some way, especially when it's a favorite book

12 am to 2 or 3 am. If you work evenings - let us say from 3 to 11pm - you won't have to worry about being tired at work. Late at night is the best time to read: the mind is more receptive and it's of course also very quiet. So any heavy reader should try for a job where you can work evenings. At least half of all professional level jobs have evening shifts; I manage the second shift at a group home for disturbed teenagers.

In the very early morning hours or very late in the evenings when I know it will be quiet for awhile.

The best time is when my family goes away for the weekend to the desert, to ride their quads in the sand. This is bliss! I can read on into the late hours of the night and comprehend everything I am reading. I know there will not be the usual interruptions watching the time for obligations that must be met. My time is my own! :D

Yes I agree. That is also a favoriet time for me because I will not be interrupted and all the responsibilities of the day are on old. A big pillow, a purring cat and favorite books scattered on the bed ... that is so good.

Hmm... i love reading.. its my fav. hobby..

so i read

when... i travel [if my mind is free and the distance is atleast half an hr..and i am seated comfortably :P]

..i read before bedtime [ fav time for reading].. it soothes and calms me enough to sleep...

..this may sound strange but i love to read in my garden when a windy breeze is blowing.. the light is just before twilight .. or may be the sky is cloudy and the atmosphere is truly romantic.. [i knw its time for romance .. but everytime my bf is not beside me ..so i choose to read and enjoy the outdoors]

I love to read in the afternoon also.. but then the most important thing is .. i must be comfortable and a bit calm .. to get on with reading.. coz reading my fav books is a very specialtime for me and a very special treat i give myself regularly to keep me going through the everyday life and its struggles... :)

Late at night either laying in bed or on the living room chair or sofa.

Whenever I have time. Between classes at school, when it's slow at work, while my boyfriend plays card games with his friends, whenever. ^_^ I don't always have a lot of free time, so I take what I can get.

In the afternoon laying on my bed.

I always read in the bath and in English lessons, and occasionally at night :)

at night because it helps me to get tired ons school nights as i don't get tired unless i read and then it hurts and tires my brain and i become tired lol
