Hi Calypso,
Great art has the ability to affect us in a profound way. Because of that we may act in ways that are both influenced by and reflective of that art. For example, I recently viewed the movie, "Schindler's List," which was directed by Steven Spielberg. Oskar Schindler, a German during WWII acted to save over 1thousand Jews who would otherwise have died in Nazi concentration camps. The movie made me act, in small ways, to confront and deter prejudice and discrimination that I've encountered in my own life. While I'm no Oskar Schindler, Spielberg's movie influenced me to try to be a better, more just person. Regards.

Well, have you ever looked at an artist drawing faces? Generally their face will contort into whatever they're drawing. Or whenever animators for video-games/cartoons need action shot they'll get people to come in a move around for them. (Not sure you consider cartoons/comics/video-games art, but just though I'd throw it out there)
