Why does the new Yahoo! Answers suck? The search answer engine doesn't even answer my questions?

Question

Is anyone else having this problem? In the old yahoo answers, when i put in a question in the 'search answers' engine, my question would usaully pop up and my answer would be resolved. in the new yahoo answer, when i put in a usaully in the search engine..... it doesn't even search my question right.... like if u were to ask the question, "how many states are in the united states?" usaully ull find the question but u dont even find that.. u get like something way different. new yahoo answer really sux whats wrong with it.... is it just me?? im really disappointed i cant find the questions i want..

also i notice now that u only can see the best answer i think thats so lame i liked reading other peoples answers 2

Agreed, this sh!t sucks now.

I WILL NEVER USE BING. IT IS THE WORST SEARCH ENGINE.

Here's a tip (and what I've been doing lately since the Y!A search is absolutely horrible), I type in what I'm looking for in Google followed by Yahoo Answers. This way you can use the superior search engine (Google), and find what you are looking for on Yahoo Answers!

I agree before these changes Yahooanswers was alot better.But with these changes ive answered more and more questions.But of course that is your opinion.And im with you 51% and against you 49%.And i dont get what you mean i typed in hit and click search answers and it had alot of questions the yahooanswers search is the same but some SOME other changes were a little down.

Partly because Yahoo! sucks big fat donkey testicles and enjoys every lasting second of it. 

What I do not understand, about 30% of the answers selected/voted aren't even correct answers to the questions asked.

In the end, I just want to say FuckY0u Yahoo! about 50 or so times. I apologize forehand if some of you readers are offended, however, I'm just exercising my freedom of speech. :P

OH MY GOD! I have the same problem before all i had to do was type some keywords in the search engine and my question would be there but now i have to actually ask the question ;( its bullshit thats all i used yahoo answers for and now it sucks.

I HATE this problem.  Before it was so convenient!  Either the problem needs to be fixed or they just want us to be wasting points by asking new questions.  The new Y!A and its search engine are useless right now!

I think Yahoo needs to fire their management team and have a team that really listens to what people who use this site have to say. They are doing a terrible job at explaining why they do things as well.

the new YA. sucks i hate it ..i use to love coming to this website and type my question now i get non sense. this new YA is the worst is time to try a new website..i hate it so much they better change it back or improve it because I'm not liking it!!!!!!!!....oh well i guess I'll just stop visiting this website for right now.,...

I'm going through the same thing. Like, the question I type in doesn't even SLIGHTLY resemble the answers they give me. It's hard to explain, but I know what you mean :/ It's pissing me off.
