Yes I will - along with many large companies who have discovered that migrating from XP to Windows 7 is going to cost them a fortune.

I have no problem with Windows 7 but I won't buy it. I'll wait until I get a new laptop and PC:

    nope, nope, nope.

When I finally do quit using XP Pro SP2, there will be either a stable version of windows that does not hog resources doing things that I care nothing about, or I will go back to a version of Linux. Too many bugs in Vista and 7, too many missing/incompatible drivers, and both use far too many resources that are not needed.

I have been using xp without microsoft support for many years and I will continue to in the future until they get a stable version of vista or 7 that software and hardware manufacturers release good drivers for. There is a reason why software companies still release xp drivers for just about everything and 7 drivers are hard to find. Think about that.

Still using XP as I still have and use legacy software which still gets the job done. I get to see the latest greatest at work and quite frankly know that most of the real work that I see on a daily basis could be accomplished with these programs. Just hate to waste money on eye candy which does little to nothing to improve how the work gets done. Not planning to upgrade hardware or software any time soon.

Not sure why people want to live in the past.

Like insisting on driving an old 2002 car (XP dates from 2002)

Windows 7 is a perfectly good operating system
