To transfer songs from your friend's iPod to your laptop, the most convenient and secure way is to use this popular iPod to iTunes transfer program called iPod rip http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/joboshare-ipod-...
Many of my friends recommended it to me when I needed to transfer all my songs, videos, playlists, photos podcasts etc. from iPod to my computer.
With just a few simple clicks, it will help you transfer all songs/videos and other files from iPod to your selected folder on your computer. Besides, it can also help put songs from computer to iPod.
More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names and playlists are preserved.
Hope this can help.

Dude, that's what you do.... tell your pal you completely forgive him, yet nevertheless pass over you PSP, pretend to be all unhappy and confirm you have the ipod with you. Then say, thank you for the i pod, greater sensible then no longer something, be much greater unhappy. The you shove it in his face and be all like, I have been given AN IPOD touch SUCKERR! so plenty greater sensible THAN A PSP. Then RUN! and have no touch with him till after each and every week. terrific plan ever :D
