Why is the pilot episode of House orange?

I have seen this episode many times, and every time the hue has bothered me.

I wasn't sure if it was something to do with the Orange guy or just early directing.

Does anyone know?

Update:

Its just weird because its the one episode that is like that. =/

Yeah, it's just the coloring. I guess they were trying to make it look more interesting and dramatic, but it really just made everyone look like oompa loompas in the 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' movie... They did the same thing on the episode "House Divided" except they made it so the lighting was so incredibly bright. Also they did it in Kutner's episode 'Simple Explanation.' Everything was dull gray in that episode. I guess they just wanted to convey a kind of emotion with the color

It's because that is the coloring that they used for the pilot episode. It's the reason CSI:Miami is so orange and CSI:NY is bluish.
