The only doll I know of that has a round hole in the tummy area is the Chatty Cathy doll. It has a taking box there since a cord was pulled at the neck so she would speak, the boxes rarely ever speak and the cords are missing the whole in the tummy had felt over it, some are made with a series of small holes like the saucy walkers.

does this look like your doll

Some plastic dolls are collectible, some even more so then porcelain.

First thing to do is try to identify your doll. Look all over for any markings that could be a makers name or year. What size is the doll? What color is her hair? Do you have a photo?

Once you identify who she is, you can search completed listings on Ebay to get an idea of what she's worth.

Add more details. Dolls typical have markings on their backs or the back of their heads or even the bottoms of the feet.
