Is the fuel filter in the gas tank on the 2006 Saturn Vue, 3.5 V-6 2WD?
I see a large black formed box that looks like one line goes in and two lines coming out. I can't see any filter clamped to any part of the body.
Thanks.

The filter is in the tank. It doesn't normally need to be changed. Most newer cars are moving to in tank fuel filters. That's why you will never find it along the line or rail of the car. If you keep the car for 100,000 miles, then have the tank dropped and filter replaced.

On the older (ca. 2002 or so) Vue, the fuel filter was located on the inside of the rear frame rail, driver's side, just in front of where the wheel is located - its attached by a bracket, and its somewhere around the size of a soup can. Don't know if this has changed with the newer models.

the fuel filter should be on the inside of the frame on the right side in the back. if you can follow the fuel line you might just find it

I don't know about your car but usually fuel filters can be found along your fuel line in the engine bay.
