Ohio gun laws...is a 3 rd burst legal on assult rifles in Ohio?
Considering that its not fully automatic, is a 3 round trigger burst legal? Not modified but on a weapon legally bought thru gun shop from manufacturer?

Nope, single shot only. It's a federal law I think.
But, a private citizen can own full auto weapons. You have to have a Federal license.

Well, the BATF doesnt look kindly on fully auto weapons. You could easily end up with jail time for owning one without the proper permits and licensing, which will run a few thousand dollars and a lot of hassle. Depending on where you live, (CA is a dark 2nd amendment crushing place) semi-auto magazine fed rifles are legal. These would include assault style rifles the the AR-15. Most places, high capacity (more than 10 rounds) magazines are legal, so you have a rifle that is just like the military weapon, except its not fully automatic (no burst either). Avoid the illegal stuff, youre creating another excuse for anti-gun advocates!
