Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack?

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to use World Adventures Expansion pack on a laptop?

I already use Sims 3, but do you need to have the SIms 3 disc in the laptop at the same time as the expansion pack??

I only have capacity for one disc at a time and am worried about wasting money if it wont work.

    yes you only have to have the world adventures cd in it to play because you already installed sims 3 on your computer!
