Did you see Al Sharpton last night say that anyone who voted for Obama, knew they were voting for Socialism?

Anyone who *didn't* know that a vote for Obama was a vote for socialism just wasn't paying attention.

I saw it. He basically said a vote for Obama was a vote for health care reform (not entirely untrue). What he didn't say was that most people's idea of health care reform probably didn't include being forced to purchase health insurance or face the penalizing powers of the IRS.

I think Sharpton should be listened to, personally. He is the chosen liason to the black church community which is becoming unhappy with Obama.

PS, I apologize, I blanked on it earlier, but Sharpton absolutely did say, without even blinking, "then America voted for socialism," in answer to a question about whether this was socialism.

Even Sharpton couldn't admit to Obama being a communist. Every one knew Obama's plan was to destroy America. It looks like his plan is even ahead of schedule. liberals, take your tingling legs and run after him. His buddy Rev Wright told everyone flat out his plan for America, and how much he hated America.

I voted for Obama - because the McCain/Palin ticket was a joke. It had nothing to do with socialism.

Why is it that no one calls it socialism when the government uses tax money to build billion dollar stadiums for sports teams privately owned by rich white guys?

Here's my comment: where's your link? I don't believe he said this, but I think it is your interpretation of something Al said that was taken out of context and probably cut off before he finished.

I didn't see it because I don't watch Geraldo. I wouldn't doubt that it happened though.
