what are some good tv shows like Lost and Dexter?
i love serial dramas. So far ive watched Lost, Heroes, Prison Break, Dexter and 24 and i love them all. I want to know what some other good shows like these are. I dont like shows like house and law & order where you can just tune in and watch, i like where all the episodes continue a main plot. I also dont want to watch anything like gilmore girls or whatever, where they deal only with relationships and drama and stuff. There needs to be some kind of action. What are some good shows that fit this description?

I watch dexter and another show that I absolutely love is Weeds, it rocks! It is less compelling than dexter but it is a lot of fun and is very addictive!
I would also recommend six feet under, I have only watched the first season but it's still good and very funny and it's got michael c hall from dexter in it and I love michael c hall!!
You could also try calaforniacation...I haven't actually tried it yet, but it's from showtime and i swear all showtime shows rock and so i'm gonna give it a go :)

Some of the best serial dramas are no longer on network TV. Lost is a good example of what most major networks don't do anymore. A great new drama on FX is Justified, starring Timothy Olyphant of Deadwood fame. FX also has Damages with Glenn Close, and Sons of Anarchy which is on hiatus until late summer.
If you're looking for something similar to Lost, FlashForward on ABC is pretty good.

You should check out The Wire and Sopranos. Those are my 2 favorite shows of all time. Both are very good and involve a lot of drama and action.

Flash Forward and V are series that you might enjoy if you like Lost. I saw the first episode of FF and I really liked it, but haven't been able to continue watching...it looks like it would be good.
I'm a huge LOST fan, so to me, there is no other show that even comes close to how incredible that show is. But when it's over and done with, I think I will try to catch up on Flash Forward.

The HBO and Showtime series are wonderful! Entourage and Weeds are great shows!

well vampire diaries is good it has drama but it has a ton of action i think u love it.
