Looking for great quality earphones.?

I am looking for a great quality, reliable set of earphones.

Things that i want in my headphones:

- strong bass

- isolation and to stay in my ear

- durable

Ideally I would just like earphones that would be a good fit to stay in my ear (i jam when i run and bike) but are also high quality sounding for when i'm walking about to class across university.

I have looked at etymotic, klipsch, vmoda, sennheiser, bose, and skull candy. (I feel like I have ruled out bose and skull candy since bose is not really for my active lifestyle, and skull candies i have heard are unreliable).

any info on these brands and/or other high quality brands for what i'm looking for is greatly appreciated!!!

There are a lot of choices for headphones / earbuds. Important things for you to consider are how comfortable you want them to be for long listening sessions, whether you will use them while exercising and how much you are willing to spend.

For a really inexpensive option that should fit within your budget, I would recommend MEElectronics M9 earphones. They have good sound quality and come with silicon eartips to help you find the most comfortable fit. They will work with an iPhone or iTouch, too, if you get the version with the built-in mic.

For a step up in bass and overall smoothness in the sound signature, the MEElectronics M6 are really hard to beat for their price. They have a similar sound signature to the M9, but come in different colors and also use a memory wire to keep the earphones firmly in your ear while running, biking, etc.

I have reviewed both of these earphones, as well as many other brands of earphones. More details and a review of each of these models can be found in the links below.

I'd say go for sennheiser or klipsch.

Bose is ok-good, but at the same price or more than above. The above are excellent! Shure is also a good consideration.

If u wanna spend less, Sony is decent too.

IMO, the cans- full sized earphones are better comfort... And sound better, but of course are bulky. Recently, I listened to some massive

Sony xbass 700 models and they sound excellent! All frequencies are clear, no distortion, but huge! Lol

i got sennheisers. my best bet is to buy a few earphones from where ever compare them, keep the ones you like most and return the ones that you don't like.

    Skullcandies seem to break alot.

I've had my Bose for 3 years---I love them.

Re-think your choice to exclude bose.

    You'll be glad you did.
