Tribute portfolio ideas?

I never ask for ideas, but i am stumped.

My grandpa was only given a few months, and he supported me through photography school. I would like to do a tribute portfolio for him. Any ideas?

    perhaps you could get a hold of some of his old photos and do a photo montage...

    scan some of his prints etc and find out what is dear to him and work to do things that he gets pleasure from..then present it in a nice way.
