I'm sorry... I can't support ANYONE who supports this horrible idea.

I can see where this is going. I've heard OBAMA say... OUT LOUD:

I favor a SINGLE PAYER - GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

This is the FIRST STEP in getting there...

The next step is AMNESTY for ILLEGALS... making the VOTERS and RECIPIENTS.

The next step is a NATIONALIZE VAT (TAX).

At the point where "our" government HOLDS ALL THE CARDS... they can do whatever they want.

It's even MORE CLEAR now that our GOVERNMENT thinks IT KNOWS BETTER than we do, what we want and need. It's TRANSPARENT - that they've forgotten - that they were elected to fulfill THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE who put them there. What happens when we allow them to have ABSOLUTE CONTROL over our money and choices?

Yes well I definitely agree with you on the something for nothing mentality but unfortunately until we elect a Congress that does what the people want and not the corporations that will never change. Corporations just take take take take take from the people and give little to nothing in return. Capitalism is indeed destroying our nation, why did you know in face that some people spout off crap about corporate tax rates while in reality they know nothing of what they pay? Shocking.

It is sad that many Republicans have class envy for all the handouts that the poor receive. They think that minorities get all kinds of advantages that they don't get. They perhaps wish they were black gay Muslim women. That way they would get to enjoy all the advantages. If we can overcome this kind of class envy, and not adapt your trite perspective on "class envy," we can begin to try to find common ground. The belief of liberals is that poor people are entitled to health care. The Republicans don't agree and instead say anyone who wants to help the hungry is simply envious of the rich. That's why, in reality, the Republicans hate Jesus, because they see he wanted to take from Rome to feed the poor, a blatant example of his class envy. If you want to talk about ending the partisan divide, perhaps repost your question without that garbage about class envy.

Just wait until the Climate Legislation starts getting pushed. Government control over your life & business is only just getting started I'm afraid (and it amazes me that people encourage our Government to do this).

Pelosi decided to block out Republicans before health care and will continue right up till November.
