How long does diarrhea last after antibiotics?

My 3 month old son finished a 10 day course of amoxicillian on Saturday and he is still having diarrhea. The diarrhea started mid-way through the antibiotics. Any idea how long I should let it go before calling the doctor? He isn't dehydrated but he does have a diaper rash from it that isn't going away and I'm concerned it may be yeast (as his brother currently has a yeast infection). He is breastfed, is there anything I can eat to help ease the diarrhea or rash? Would it help him any if I took acidophillis pills or probiotics?

When anti biotics are givin, you should always replace the intestinal flora with infant probiotics. You can get powder that is especially for babies and just add a half teaspoon to the bottle / or make a paste and just put it in his mouth before you breastfeed once a day. This will likely get rid of the yeasty diaper rash as well. The brand that I use is flora, but there are other brands out there that I have seen.

She eats and beverages now and we supply her a frozen foodstuff n water cube or a Gatorade cube each hour, she did IV fluids at living house while she got here living house from the vet. This looks assisting my toddler save some foodstuff and beverages down. Her diarrhea has stopped for now, none in over 24 hours. we are occurring 9 days on the grounds that she began getting sick. She has power and seems greater useful. She additionally had very high priced antibiotics and nausea meds.
