Is having a car with only two seats an inconvenience?

I owned Corvettes since 1978. You can put one big suitcase behind the driver's seat. When I lived in MI, I had to buy a truck to get around in the winter. Corvettes and snow don't mix!

I'm having the same dilemma, only I want a Jeep Wrangler. But the thing is, with a Wrangler I think I'll be okay with only having one friend sit in with me and putting extra baggage in the back, because there's room. Corvettes are tiny sport cars made for the true classy, speed-demon in you. :] Unfortunately, they're not made to really accommodate friends and paraphernalia. So if you think that you'll ever want to carpool some friends to some swanky party downtown, I'd suggest a different car.

It depends on how much you will drive for fun, and how many friends you have. I personally hate being the chauffeur for friends, so if I had a 2 seat car, I could only take 1 person with me, and everyone else could stop being cheap and drive themselves. I also enjoy driving for fun, including racing at the track, where you don't need more than 2 seats. So, just evaluate that yourself. Do you want to take a bunch of friends, or do you enjoy driving for yourself?
