Is American Idol running out of celebrities to invite to perform?

Usher next week and later on Michael Buble. Love him. Glad Paige is gone.

They are trying to capture the attention of the all-important teen audience. Teenagers have great influential power: they watch a show, they like it, they tell their friends, their friends watch it. If the show sucks, it works in reverse. So they're inviting younger performers to try and get the teen and tween audience re-interested in their show. Even though Idol is popular, they are loosing a dramatic number of viewers and they're hoping to gain some back this way.

Well, Ke$ha sucks for sure...she can't even sing. But I just watched Joe and Demi perform and it was pretty cute. Miley actually was good tonight too. I'm not really a Disney star fan but these teens tonight definitely have talent.

i'm specific they do. yet perhaps that is of their contract while they get to a definite point to accomplish for them without pay. even however, Amer Idol and Fox makes lots money that they might pay them without breaking their economic employer, so it would make greater experience that they gets a commission, it perhaps against some variety of entertainers coverage for them to not be paid.

Clearly.. they need to start getting some DECENT performers at least. Someone like Stevie Wonder, like last year.

They Performed Tonight?

..... I do not like the direction this show is going in.

They want ratings. Plus, most the contestants suck-- so they'll be lucky if KISS or Queen goes out of their way to sing with any of them.

Maybe Disney bribed the producers of the show? *shrugs* Or all the real stars are too tired to come to A.I. so they have to go to second-rate singers instead.

American idol sucks anyways. maybe that's why they putting these disney starts because they think they will get more audiences like that.

I loved Miley but the other two sounded and looked RETARDED!!!! I seriously thought it was a joke.
