Um, I not entirely sure about the first one. But, I just found the GCM of the first term. My answer is:

    2(n^2 + 2n + 2)(4n - 5)

It doesn't look quite right, though...

Anyway, the next two are difference of squares.

    k^2 - 16h^2

    Both terms are perfect squares.

    The answer is:

    (k + 4h)(k - 4h) or...

    (k - 4h)(k + 4h)

Multiplying a positive by a negative gives you a negative. That's how I found the signs. And, since multiplication is communitive, you can have either answer.

    49^2 - 36

Both terms are perfect squares, similar to the last problem.

    (7h + 6)(7h - 6)

    or the other way around.

The last problem is a trinomial. Both term 1 and term 3 are squared.

    k^2 + kf - 2f^2

First, find the factors of the third term.

    (1 x 2)

Use that to find the signs.

+2 (minus) +1 (equals) +1, the middle term, that's how you determine the signs.

Theoretically, there is a 1 in front of the "kf."

Do what you did in the last two:

    (k___2f)(k____f)

    (ignore the lines please)

    Add the signs.

Your answer will look like this:

    (k + 2f)(k - f)

You in actuality have 2 words here, (2x^2 -a million)(x+2) and four(x+2)^2. observe that they each and every have (x+2) in uncomplicated. so which you would be able to element that out, interior a similar way that ac - bc = (a-b)c: [ (2x^2 - a million) - 4(x+2) ] (x+2) Now strengthen what's interior. [ 2x^2 - a million - 4x - 8 ] (x+2) [ 2x^2 - 4x - 9 ] (x+2) commonly you will possibly have the means to element a quadratic, yet hence of 2x^2 - 4x - 9, you could no longer. So that's so some distance as you could take it. >>yet i'm rubbish at maths! :| in case you do no longer desire to bypass for the time of something of your existence as somebody who sucks at arithmetic, then it rather is as much as you to alter that. undesirable arithmetic skills are not genetic.
