I totally agree man. Durant has only been in the NBA for

a few years now, and no where near as good as Kobe.

( I'm not saying Durant's a bad player, he is doing really

well in the NBA right now, for all you Thunder fans)

And yeah that is true, Kevin might be averaging

more points than Kobe, but Kobe is on a team with

a lot of good players (Gasol, Bynum, Artest...)

And that is what makes the Lakers the Best in the West

and the 2009 NBA Champs.

I agree i mean i love kobe and i know he doesn't get a whole lot of assist but all the games i hardly ever see durant get a assist or pass the ball. Plus kobe has been injured 3 times so i bet if he only missed 2 games and had the same injury like durant he could be challenging those two (Lebron and Durant). But He will prove he is better When they win

Durant is not supposed to get too many assists, he is a true small forward, plus he has a great PG on his team in Westbrook. Kobe has Fisher, who is a good leader, but he isn't a passing PG. Also going by their advanced stats this year Durant is in fact better than Kobe. Kobe however is a greater player than Durant for all that he has achieved, such as the Finals victory and MVP. Thus a non bias fan would say Durant is a better player than Kobe, but Kobe is the greater(more significant historically) player.

If Kobe was on the Thunder instead of Durant, you would see why people say that. The Thunder would struggle just to get the 8th seed in the west.

Kobe only got as far as he is today because he had LOTS of help (and I mean LOTS).

As for buzzer beaters, if you're the best player in the NBA, you would get the work done earlier in the game. You wouldn't let the game get to a point where you have to jack up a last second desperation shot.

The only thing Kobe can do is score. Durant can score and rebound.

Lebron James can score, rebound, assist, steal, and block.

Eric you forgot to mention LBJ has 2 mvps now. Oh and if Kobe and Durant switched places Kobe would easily average over 30points a game.. He just has a better team. For Effin sake the lakers do not even need Kobe to score 30 anymore to secure a win.

One day, Kevin Durant will be better than Lebron at the time. One day he will even be better than kobe at the time. But the big thing to remember right now is...

which means: Kobe Bryant is the best player now, this year, this decade, and of ALL TIME!!!!

Kobe is definately better than Durant, Durant is still pretty young and getting better but IMO he is kinda useless if he doesnt shoot the ball. He cant defend for **** or be a playmaker...yet

PS: Kobe does play on a better team but he leagues the league in shot attempts, just sayin

Durant scores more because his team needs him to score more. Kobe is still the top player in the nba and will be for at least 1 more season, Lebron is catching up to him as he gets older.
