By law, how are we be able to improve the quality of our voters?
If it is not working well then we have to fix it , right? There maybe a middle ground between trying to improve the lot we are in and preserving the essence of democracy(win-win}.

I believe to vote you should have to past a question-aire of some sort. Simple questions, too many people go into election booths with no knowledge at all of politics.

*sigh* yet yet another guy or woman who thinks that the US is a democracy. The U.S. isn't, nor has it ever been, a democracy. that's a democratic republic. we've a sequence of tests and balances put in place by utilising the founding fathers to guard against tyranny of maximum folk. Any, I repeat, ANY bill could be struck down by utilising the appropriate courtroom. it is not something new; it has continuously had the ability to try this. Seeing because of the fact the State appropriate courtroom is a factor of the state's government, I hardly see how that's in violation of the 10th modification.

All voters must pass a real test about the Constitution and bill of rights. In English. Those who do not score at least 80% must be excuse from voting at any time.

That's a tough one, I would say more education, since democrats are much more educated than republicans according to exit polls!
