Teeth hurting 4 days after getting cavaties filled?

I had a 6 cavities filled on monday, and one of them was really deep. The dentist told me that i may need a root canal someday if it starts bothering me. But that tooth doesn't hurt, all of my other teeth that had small cavities are hurting me now that i got them filled. They never hurt me before.

My teeth feel achy.

Anyone know why this might be??

I will be calling my dentist tomorrow to see, just wanted to know if anyone might know the answer.

Thanks

6 cavities drilled and filled is a lot of trauma for your jaw and the muscle's in and around the area. Also the nerve endings located in each tooth. If ti is cold or heat that is bothering you that is a different matter.Give ti some time as this pain should go away.take some aspirin or advil to relieve pain, try not to drink or eat cold or hot foods. do not chew gum or hard things like candy or nuts, ice .
