In India there are so may roads collecting toll tax? Why the road tax is meant for?
Road Tax for vehicles primarily meant for road construction and maintenance. No body can use vehicle without road tax. The government both center and states collecting money as toll tax does not agreed too. Why the government making people fool and collecting toll tax.

Governments collect tax to make its economically unsustainable operations (military, bureaucracy, judiciary, education, sanitation, infrastructure and other public services) tick. How the funds are spent is not necessarily made transparent to the general public.
Even the most efficient governments have high taxes, but they spend them well and to the benefit of its citizens. You can tell by careful and transparent spending, good roads, good health service, education etc.
Toll roads are one way of keeping them efficient and relatively free of heavy traffic, but even here with different results from country to country. And then, there are countries like Germany with many toll-free expressways.

Dear friend, One gentle man went to court in Bellay on this issue. But court cancelled the case saying
the road tax paid is used to roads development and other activities which government conducts. For example General hospitals run freely to the poor patients. Where they get money to run these Hospitals, Like this many scemes.
