Virgin/Half a virgin/not a virgin?
Okay so before me and my bf tried to have sex I was a virgin, but he tryed to get it in and it was just too painful so he couldn't get it all the way in and I told him to stop. I don't think he "popped or broke anything". So techinally would I still be consider a virgin or not because he still went in even if not all the way?

I hate to say this, but I think you're an idiot.
sry.
...but I say this because I was an idiot once too. Don't give it up for some dumb man....too late! What if he leaves you and you meet someone else, and you want to be a virgin for that guy, well, what will you think then? You will think: "no, I am NOT a virgin anymore." You will drive yourself insane with this because all the answers are so opposed to each other.
Just call yourself a stupid human like the rest of us.

I would be looking for a virgin, well, because I am one too. I guess I am still waiting for marriage (or at least the person that i KNOW i will spend the rest of my life with) and I would actually kinda like to have someone with the same morals with me. But in the world of today, it can be hard to find virgins that are my age, 19, so I guess I will look for a girl who is not a slut. Thats my view!

I would say not a virgin.. your cherry popping means nothing because you can do that by being fingered and still be very much a virgin. So I would say no you are not a virgin.

The Catholic Encyclopedia says: "There are two elements in virginity: the material element, that is to say, the absence, in the past and in the present, of all complete and voluntary delectation, whether from lust or from the lawful use of marriage; and the formal element, that is the firm resolution to abstain forever from sexual pleasure." And, "Virginity is irreparably lost by sexual pleasure, voluntarily and completely experienced.Under this definition you are NOT a virgin. Even under medical restrictions about the intactness of your hymen, the membrane present in virgins, it may have stretched enough to no longer be intact, though it did not bleed, or "pop". So, again NOT a virgin.

That really all depends on how technical you want to be about it. if you want to be completely literal, no, you are no longer a virgin. But I don't think most people(who aren't extremely religious) would really count that. However, if you are using the breaking of the hymen as the deciding factor for "virginity" then you can't really be sure at the moment. Many girls end up breaking their hymen in childhood from sports or gymnastics or the like. Some girls never really have a fully developed hymen, and when they have sex for the first time it just sort of moves to one side. Some girls don't ever really have a hymen to begin with. So until you have sex again you won't really know if your hymen is intact or not, and even then you may not know. The main problem here is that the terminology is not exactly clear. In my opinion, it's really up to you. If you want to say you are still a virgin, go ahead. If you don't want to, then don't. There is no real correct answer aside from what you feel.

First of all - LOL at the people who think you might have had an orgasm during this experience. You are definintely no longer a virgin sweetie. Unfortunately, you have to count it even if it sucks - otherwise I would have still been a virgin after the first 3 guys I was intimate with. Hahaha!

No longer a virgin.
I don't consider having an orgasm or "popping your cherry" to be an accurate measure of virginity.
One, plenty of females get it in "all the way" and do NOT experience an orgasm.
Two, you can break your hymen by bike or horse riding, even tampons.
Virginity is a sense of innocence and purity. Sorry, but you're no longer a virgin.

as long as it went in no matter how much, you're not a virgin anymore.
It doesn't matter if your cherry popped cus even if you have sex for the first time, it doesn't always pop the first time.
So sorry :o not a virgin anymore.

there is no such thing as "half a virgin" --- you either are or are not --- and "popping" is not really a sign anyway --- your hymen could have been broken well before naturally or by exercise or a number of other activities --- i would suggest that regardless of the result consider yourself no longer a virgin --- have fun and might i suggest a LOT more foreplay before hand --- it prepares you for the act

lol, the funniest question i ever seen in my life. okay it is neither virgin or not a virgin in this world. technically saying once have have sexuall intercouse with a male you are not, but when the other guy have sex with you again with you don't say anything then he will think you are a real virgin. okay so just keep it on the low.
