Can i bring my dog to work with me ?
I am a security guard in a empty care home.
as its just me in the building alone and i work nights I don't see any reason why I wont be able to take my little pug dog with me to keep me company, also there are no cameras in the building.
Has anyone else who works as a security guard done this before?
thanks in advance for your answers.

Maybe if you can make him pass for a stray, if no one ever checks up on you, then it should not be any problem. If you want to be honest it's your dog, then keep it on a leash. If anyone stops by say that the house had been fumigated.

as a security guard i honestly dont think any other person would suspect that its not allowed, therefore you really wouldnt have to hide him. the only issue i could see was if somebody saw you that knows better or administrative hears of it they may check up on you.
i really wouldnt advise it seeings how it could be serious enough to get into alot of trouble for bringing him/her with you. maybe talk to a co-worker and see what they think. (someone you get along with well). but like the others said, if you could pass it off as a stray, you may get away with it.
alot would also depend on the shift. you could get away with it alot easier if it was a night shift. a day shift would be harder to pass it off as a stray as people are constantly walking by. (assuming, really dont know where you are a security guard at or how busy it is)
hope this helps. =)
