why in the world would anyone think we are not supposede to eat animals?

Only PETA and their followers think it is wrong to eat meat. Dog and cats are pets so we don't eat them. Not enough meat on hamster, gerbils,ferrets and cavies to worry about eating them. But toss me a steak on the grill and BBQ so ribs and chicken. MMMMM, MMMMM Good

I always hated the thought of eating animals, but I didn't become a vegetarian until last year. Perhaps I'm going against the "laws of the universe" or whatever since in the wild animals eat other animals, but I like it much better now knowing that I am not eating a dead corpse... plus I don't miss meat at all. I also felt like a hypocrite since I have always been for animal rights and have cats of my own, so why do my cats deserve to live and not a cow or a pig?

i wonder the same question every day. That's why God put animals on the earth for us, is so we could eat them. There are animals that i wouldnt eat such as dogs/cats and i wouldnt eat my rabbits, and other stuff like that...but animal meat can have a lot of healthy things for you! good question

If your talking about vegetarians thinking that were not supposed to eat animals, then thats their opinion, and they dont all think that its cause were not supposed to eat them. Id saythat most dont think that. Some may be vegetarians for health reasons cause they think meat is fatty, or maybe they just think about the animals that meat used to be when they see it and cant imagine eating the poor thing.

Because I feel like it's not necessary. I don't feel like a being's life is worth ending just for a main course.
