cricket and windows 7?

Anyone having trouble using a cricket broadband [yeah right] while running windows 7? I took the stupid cricket modem and they updated it - it runs slower than ever! 8 hours to download adobe? I dont think so!

Update:

Thanks Colanth. VPlumme, thank you. I will definitely check out 'clear'. If it works - I will invite you and otherswho owned cricket to join me at midnight atop the stratosphere tower in Las Vegas, as we in unison throw the modems off the top of the 1k plus structure. Thanks. Really appreciated.

Cricket Wireless is not a reliable 3G internet provider. You will always encounter bottleneck issues with the bandwidth when using it. My recommendation would be to use a 4g network provider such as Clear. They offer home and mobile solutions with a home modem and or USB adapter for the laptop or desktop for about $30-$40 a month. You will never regret switching from Cricket. I did and I am using Clear. My notebook only has 128 megs of ram, but with my Clear wireless, the connection speed is so fast, with no lag in download, that it performs as if I have 1 gig of ram.
