Nascar: If the 48 is leading and you're in 2nd on his bumper, what do you do?

Question

I wear his bumper out until he makes a mistake and if he doesn't make a mistake, I put the bumper to him and try to get him loose or spin him out for the win.  Checkers or wreckers?  The next driver that does that to the 48 will be my 2nd favorite driver.  Even if its Kyle Busch.  I'm not hatin on the 48 either, I just would like to see someone establish a rivalry against him and make the 48 team work a little harder then they do now for some of their wins.  They keep getting gifts given to them by other drivers and what would be really good for the sport is a rivalry and some hard core tradin paint.  Not a little contact and then retaliation.  What do you all think?  Do you think this would be good for Nascar?  Or do you think the dumb Edwards vs Keselowski story is all nascar needs?  Even though that story has come and gone, its just an example.

Nothing like alittle bump and run. But for sure I'd get suspended, cause you can not touch Nascars favorite poster driver. But if I kept him from winning 1 race, and I got a suspension, heck I'd be happy happy.

I would pull a bump and run or spin him out.....not bad, just enough to get him loose and spin him around so i could pass him, take the lead and then.... The Checkered Flag!!!! Like they say Checkers or Wreckers Baby.......Im with you Im tired of this " Jimmie Johnson Show " every week!!!! Im ready to see anyone give him a run for his money and Harvick was too darn close in Calif & Vegas, let me just tell you those 2 races were nerve racking as hell for me to watch.....but Harvick did really well and should have won in Calif if Jimmie didnt block him and Kevin ran his car up in to the wall......but enough with the re-caping....Im saying Harvick is who I want to see give the #48 team a run for their money and a real challenge this season!!!

If it was the last lap, I'd try to pass him cleanly in turns 1 and 2. If he's making it too hard on me, he's getting the boot in turns 3 and 4, whether it's Bristol or Las Vegas or Watkins Glen.

What lap, what track.. Martinsville ten to go?? I'd race him very, very, very hard..
When racing your friend, it's fun to turn someone, and laugh about it.. But when it comes down to it, being able to reach a guys bumper is not much of an ego booster, or a reason to think you deserve a win..

It all depends how he's raced me all day. I'd race him how he raced me. If I hadn't raced around him at all, then I wouldn't lay a fender on him. The last thing a sponsor would want would be for me to intentionally wreck an ambassador of the sport for the win. I'd do everything I could to get past him without contact.

If I was in 2nd, I wouldn't be one bit afraid to bump him and push him up the track so I could go by. I know for sure that if someone gets that chance this weekend, they won't hesitate to do so. I hope I'm right.
