Hey just wondering, whats the best HM slave for the start of heart gold

Try to get a zigzagoon from RSE.they can lurn most hms.you can use a water pokemon for whirlpool.fly can be taught to your evolved togepi or pidgey.

I don't know about Heart Gold, but Zigzagoon is the best HM slave ever. It can even learn Surf :D
If I had to guess, though, probably Geodude or Onix.

Empoleon. I have it myself and it is my HM slave. It knows waterfall surf rock smash and rock climb. Also it can learn some others like defog which I used to have on it or a Bibarel can do very good as well except for defog and fly it is great as well.

LIckitung for sure. He can learn all Hms besides fly. You can find one on route 44 or in the safari zone

I had Bellsprout with Cut and Flash and Onix with Rock Smash

Well i prefer fire but if you like water its good too(only in gold,silver,heart gold,soul silver,crystal)
Fire=+HP+ATK
Water=+HP+DEF
Leaf=TOTTALY SUCK!
Hvae a good playthrough.
