Any ideas why my truck doesn't start?

I started it this morning no problem to go to work. Put it in drive to leave then it just cut off. Put it back in park and tried to start it and all it does is crank. All the lights come on when you turn the key but doesn't turn over. Tried jumping it just to see but still the same thing. Any ideas? Its a 2001 Chevy Blazer ZR2

Update:

Can it be the starter if it had started fine then just died?

Could be your starter motor. Or a fuel pump problem. Try hitting your starter with a screwdriver, sometimes the solinoid gets stuck in hot or cold weather condtions and a good tap can get it going.

    Check your fuel too!
