forms of body modification/ foot tattoo?

So I ve been wanting to get some form of body modification for a while but im not sure of what.

I want something that will let me be able to hide it if i want to. So I have thought about belly piercings but I done have the stomach for it.

The other thing I have thought about is a foot tattoo. The only thing is I am worried about the pain. If anyone can tell me about their experiences with the pain or types of care or anything that would be great.

I am still open to others ideas though so suggest away.

Thanks

i have my bellybutton pierced and i absolutely love it! it really doesn't matter whether you have the "right" stomach for it, it just matters that you like it. you could also get either a surface piercing somewhere on your body that you can hide it if you would like.

i also have my foot tattooed and i must say that getting it was the worst pain of my life, but so worth it!!! i absolutely love my tattoo and am so glad that i went through with it and got it.

make sure if you get it that you get it during a time when you can wear either flats or sandals for about 3ish weeks. some people say they put a tennis shoe of some sort on afterwards but it really isn't a good idea for the healing of the tattoo. and also, make sure you do it on a weekend when you won't have school/work for a few days so you can relax and keep your foot up as much as possible. my foot was swollen for about 3 days when i got mine and it really hurt to walk on it.

I have my belly button pierced and don't have a perfectly flat stomach, but i love it anyways so if its something that you want then go for it.

I also have a lower back tattoo that I really love and am able to hide all the time or show people if I want. The pain was not that bad, just like someone was pinching you, although alot worse.

I have several piercings including my rook and tragus pierced that aren't directly noticeable and super cute if you wanted to try something like that also.

    Best of luck with everything!

a foot tattoo would be idea for covering up

just the only thing with the tattoo compared to piercings is we all know you can not remove them

so i would have to say tattoos is more of the adult thing to do

from what i have been told about the pain is that its pretty painful and there are lots of nerves there

a tattoo alone feels like a hot needle going across your skin

the outline does not hurt so bad

and after its all done you feel like you have a bad sunburn with slimy skin

pain is temporary pride last a lifetime

Anything that permanently alters your appearance. So plastic surgery, tattoos, scarification, etc. I'd consider body modification, but piercings, hair dye, nail polish, and the like I wouldn't consider modification.

the foot is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo and people tend to have alot of problems with the healing cause you walk shoes socks and feet are all around dirty easy to get infections and they swell and throb
