Are Black people More Racist Than White People?

A few weeks ago, in my PE teachers last school assembly, he did a speech about racism. Slavery etc. And then he said that in the UK alone, black people are 7 times more likely on average to commit a racist action than someone of white birth. When he first said this I was a bit surprised, it was nothing strange for black people in the school to call all us white guys racist for no good reason, but when you come to think about it, the black guys in my class are always trying to kick the whites out, and excluding us from their activities because we are white. We aren't actually that (if at all) racist, as a joke or deliberately, so why does there seem to be no such thing in regular chat about black-to-white racism? I get it even worse at school because I'm ginger, even some of my best friends prefer to stay away from me in public, pffft. stuff them :) But honestly? White-to-black racism really died out with Nelson Mandela and ArchBishop Tutu, well, on the whole, so why can't people just see that the boundaries have changed?

To add to my annoyance, we have a school council of prefects, and every term different parties run for office, and today it was announced that for the summer term a party called the "Asian Crew" will be in office. They are basically a reverse BNP, and want to start bringing in more Asian culture into the school and have even said that if elected for the autumn term, they will put pressure on the head to ban all Christmas decorations, as it is "offensive" to the majority of black pupils in the school. I hate BNP as much as the next guy, but there is acting, and being stupid...

What do you think?

Update:

OK, these people calling me an "idiot" etc. are being totally stupid. I'm expressing my opinion and giving many examples of my life which support my opinion. Where you live may be different. So say so, rather than resorting to insults etc. I'mm inviting you to make you own opinion clear, not to make this a bloodbath. Thank you to everyone that acted mature and calmly when answering.

Update 2:

I'm sorry to say this, and I know if anyone reads it they will dispute this claim, but, the general ratio of answers proves my opinion to be partially right at least. About 1/2 - 2/3 of the answers agree with me, and some of the rest are totally unreasonable, while a small percentage give a good, rational, civilised, argument. However, many people who have said that my opinion is invalid I have noticed, have black avatars, and do not give any reason besides "you are racist" or "idiot". In other words, hiding behind the race card. I am by no means a racist, anyone keeping a level head would realise that I have thought about this from a rational, non byust point of view. I have nothing against black individuals, just the ones who hide behind the race card. I do not deny that white people can be racist too. Many people have said "do not play the victim", this is one of the most hypocritical things to say, as how much is saying that without a reason "playing the victim" themselves?

I can speak from experience that I have had to deal with black people's 'attitude' of disgust toward me. I'm a white, soft-spoken, blonde woman. Not outright hatred but just looks of "Who are you lookin at white girl" I've heard many comments made in direct communication with me or about me- black people calling me "blondie" or "white girl". How is that NOT racist? A white person calling a black person "blackie" or "black girl" would have me in civil court! I do not believe in playing the race card- either way. I think that way too many black people have acted rudely against white people just because they feel justified since their ancestors were slaves. They personally have NEVER picked cotton, I'm sure! And vice versa- many white people have been unjust toward blacks. But I have NEVER owned a slave- so don't hate on me! It happens both ways- but to say that white people never encounter racism or reverse-racism is ridiculous!

I don't think it is acceptable for a white person to condemn black people based on their race-just like I don't believe that black people should have ideas about white people just b/c they're white.

There are rude and ugly acting whites just like blacks- and that's what I see and take issue with- If you are white and a jerk- I have an issue with that, if you are black and are a jerk- I take issue with that. Just don't be a jerk for race's sake!

I have NEVER offended or pursued offending black people- so why do some black women especially (not so much the men)- who are trying to act all empowered- treat me like a 'little quiet white girl'. This is very insulting and degrading when I have given NO reason for them to treat me this way- other than being white, blonde and soft-spoken.

This is my personal experience so people can say what they want about it- I just don't get why some black people (as I said women in particular) are so outwardly rude toward white girls who haven't said or done anything- and I mean this could happen in the mall, in the store etc. They have bumped into me and not even said excuse me b/c they act like I don't deserve to be spoken to- they have even had looks of arrogance on their faces like "why didn't you move outta MY way" I was never in cliques in school- I had an array of friends both during school and in my adult life- I just don't see the invisible sign on my back that says "I'm white and soft-spoken and blonde- please run me down or look down on me" So frustrating and uncalled for.

by far man. I'm 33 and its been this way my entire life. Calling me whitty is no different then me calling a black kid ******. Its really not. Blacks are not only racists there hypocrites as well. This country it is America. It means anyone can come here. That being said, you wont find as many Asian or African bodies that died fighting for this countries liberty and freedom. Yet you don't hear white people walking around telling em about it? Its cause no one cares. Black lives matters really just means only black oppinions matter. And the shits getting old. If I wore a shirt that said White lives matter people would be up in arms about it. Evan ignorant white people. And if I tried to sell it I would get the **** sued out of me. Yet if I was black this would all be fine?

I am part Native American Muscogee Creek, and a D.N.A. test said that I am 2%Black.And a very racist Black man down the street said that he didn't care.He said unless you're 100%Black that I am definitely 100% s***.I hate racism.I found out from a D.N.A. test that I am more than quadracial, but am multiracial.I'm a descendant of Jews,Blacks,Mexicans,Native Americans, and even Gypsies. And that partially explains why I like to travel a lot.By the way I am a White guy that is part Native American Muscogee Creek mixed with a lot of Cherokee,a trace of Lumbee, and a very distant trace of the Occcaneechi band of the Saponi nation. And they're descendants of the Sioux nation

I 100% agree with what you are saying. I`m a fourteen year old white female and dealt with racism in my math class, where this other girl and I were the only white girls in the entire class. I was never really accepted, and they were pretty rude a lot of the time.

And even worse, when they did say racist things to me, and I would reply, "Whites and blacks are equal." or "Just because I`m white doesn`t mean I can`t do (blank)." or something to that extent. And my teacher who was by the way, white, would tell me to stop it with the racist comments when I was the one saying that blacks and whites were equal.

Not only that but a lot of the bullying I deal with comes from black guys.

Blacks are more racist in the USA.

Here is how I figure it.

You can put a black mailman in any white neighborhood and he won't get F_cked with.

You'll never see a white mailman in an all black neighborhood because the odds are he will be hurt or killed. (Fact)

Black people for the most part have no problem with white people. But we have a very sensitive "racism radar". When your racism starts to show, we keep you at arms length. You may interpret that as racism, but it is really a reaction to the racism that you initiated.
