When selling on eBay, does the auction end date and time make a difference?

Yes it does to a small extent. Depending on when you post your item for sale, and the duration, the item might get more or less views/hits and thus might be sold for higher or lower price. If you put it up during, say weekends, there is a high chance of the item getting more hits, the same if you put it up during the 2nd and 3rd week of the month as opposed to the 1st and 4th weeks (that's when people have less cash comparatively). I always put my items up during a Friday for example.

Not really! Although if you are only selling to your country/timezone, it would probably be a good idea to have the auction end at a time that people are most likely to be online eg. evenings/weekends, as that way you are more likely to catch last minute bidders. It depends how desirable your item is though... if I were bidding on/watching something I REALLY wanted I'd make damn sure I didn't miss the end of the auction :)

yes, you want the end date to be when the most people will have the opportunity to watch the auction. Always end it in the evening hours. A lot of auctions end on the weekends so that the most people will be able to watch. I usually end mine about 11 p.m EST on Sunday evening.

Depends, If you have something ending at 9pm at night your more likely to get people bidding at the last minute than you are if it ends at 2pm because everyone is at work etc.

Not really. It's up to you. The fees are the same. The prolonged auction will give buyers more of a chance to bid.
