I have bugs that live just under the ground in my garden, They look like small roundish roaches,?

but they move much more slowly. They are especially prevalent in the mulch pile. Are they harmful? Should I kill them? How do I kill them? Are they friend or foe?

    Wood bugs . also called potato bugs. They won't do any harm.
