how do I confront my roommate...?

My roommate and I met at the beginning of the school year and since have gotten very close. However, recently she has been borrowing my clothing/shoes without ever asking me. She'll wear my clothes then text me and tell me that she's wearing them. I'm not the kind of person that likes sharing my clothing and it really bothers me. How can I nicely/discretely tell her that I don't want her wearing my clothes anymore? Thanks!

Just act cool and calmly and just say to her if you wanna borrow any of my stuff can you ask me first please thanks that should do the trick no need to bit her head off.And about the clothes just say to her I would rather it if you didn't' wear my clothes thanks sorry she might feel a bit offended and upset at first but she will get over it after all they are your clothes and she has to respect that. Why don't' you take her on a shopping trip and you could recommend some good clothes for her to buy and wear that way you will be happy and get what you want and so will she be happy good luck.

Tough question, but if it bothers you so much, you really do need to talk to her about it... let her know your not being mean and you are friends with her, but she's going a bit to far.. maybe take her to a movie or make her lunch and discuss it.. show her there are no hard feelings.
