Question about Tonsilitis...?

Does anyone know of 3 in-office test that a physican might run to test for tonsilitis? 3 is great, but even one is helpful to get me started... thanks a bunch!

    1) Throat culture (for group A Strep)

    2) Complete Blood Count

    3) body temperature

    4) C-reactive protein
