Tango means target Charlie was what we called the Vietcong. Nov 1 Tango Charlie i have no clue what your talking about on that one. lol sounds like something a India Delta 10 Tango would use.

I think you meant to say "jargon" not argot. But I digress.
When using radio communications, calling out letters can be a bit confusing. For example C,E,D,P,T
all have similar sounds.but can be confused with one or the other when calling out ONLY a letter.
So....they started using words to clarify what letters where being called out.
Tango is for "T"
Charlie is for"C"
Robert is for "R"
Delta is for "D"
Foxtrot is for "F"
I think you get the idea now.......

Never heard of a Nov-1 Tango Charlie Plane.
