Tips for AP classes? Your experience in AP classes?

I'm taking two AP classes next year: Chemistry and Government and Politics.

I have a total of 14 (13.5) months until my AP exams. I now it's a bit early to freak out, but I'M FREAKING OUT!

Do you have any tips or experiences you would like to share?

Are the tests timed? If yes, was it hard for you to finish within the times limit?

Is there anything else you think would be helpful information?

Update:

I HAVE to get a 5 on both.

AP curriculum is not very much harder than regular coursework, there's just a lot more of it.

Use your time wisely, and DON'T PROCRASTINATE!

If you put a lot of thought into your work, and especially if you enjoy the subject, you'll do just fine. :)

P.S. Make sure you sign up for the tests before the deadline -- I missed it and have to wait until next year! :(
