Which side is safe? Accepting or denying? (Continuation of peaceful questions for Ramadan)?

[Plz answer this Q if and only if you read the whole]

This q is meant in sequence of last night Qs and to address the answer of sis “Rosy” to my previous Q:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvnUQ...

Nice is the fact that she casted doubt on, and expressed may be I am right and may be wrong! But the safe side (in her idea) is not calling on prophet even if we intended God by this means! We both believe that we can ask God for help so what is the point in relying on other creature as an intermediary in asking God? The safe side is to forget about interceding other people in our pleas and call on God and only God.

On the contrary, I want to shout that the side she has chosen is not safe but really hazardous. I’m going to shout by my logic that the safe side is to accept the prophet and other selected people as a recourse to our pleas and believe in intercession (=tavassol)! Here are the reasons:

1. Intercession (= calling on certain ppl for nearness to God and acceptance of our pleas) is part of religion according to Koran and Sunnah (=both Shia and Sunni hadithes confirm it). So denying part of religion is kufr and shirk and we ordered to accept all constituents of religion together. Look at below verses:

(وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (7)) [الحشر]

(59:7)” whatever the Messenger gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in retributing (evil)”

ان الذين يكفرون بالله و رسله و يريدون ان يفرقوا بين الله و رسله و يقولون نؤمن ببعض و نكفر ببعض و يريدون ان يتخذوا بين ذلك سبيلا

(4:150) “Surely those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers and (those who) desire to make a distinction between Allah and His messengers and say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others, and desire to take a course between (this and) that.”

So we are prevented by Koran to deny part of religion’s order!!! And denying part of religion is extremely dangerous.

2. In the case, we deny intercession, we has deprived ourselves of the great opportunity to be included in God’s mercy, the opportunity to clean our sins and etc. This denial and ignoring is neither logical nor safe!

3. We are gifted by power of thinking and reasoning. We can find what is shirk or kufr according to Koran and logic and we should use them and it is ridiculous to ignore religious issues because they might be SHIRK of KUFR?!?!? And if we don’t use our brains we will be asked and penalized in the next world!

To prove that calling on prophet and ahlulbayt as a recourse in our duaas is suggested by Islam, I can provide an evidence every night and they won’t finish?! (I never get tired inshallah)

Update:

@ Osama: u r funny too! and also skillful copy-paster! and also owner of too many accounts!

Update 2:

@ I love Allah: You are so right! There are some wahabies who think you are mushrik as well! because you don't directly ask Allah and only Allah but u use a way of approach toward Allah!!!! We should all (Shia and Sunni both) stand against such deviations in Islam and help our bro&sis! I hope u can help us in this respect as well. I do believe in 3 items u mentioned in ur answer as well!

Update 3:

@ 99: salaam bro.

I do not like the "way of approach" as meaning for

وسیلة

in ur 1st verse.

There are better translation like

means of approach, or recourse or etc

"O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and seek the way of approach unto Him, and strive in His way in order that ye may succeed. "

    5:35

"O our father, ask forgiveness for our sins, verily we are sinners. He said: 'Soon I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord. Verily He is oft-forgiving, most merciful'." (12:97-98).

"On that day shall no intercession avail except of him whom the Beneficent God allows and whose word He is pleased with" (20:109)

"And intercession will not avail aught with Him save of him whom He permits" (34:23)

"And how many an angel is there in the heavens whose intercession does not avail at all except after Allah has given permission to whom He pleases and chooses" (53:26)

"...And they do not intercede except for him whom He approve..." (21:28)

"And those whom they call upon besides Him have no authority for intercession, but he who bears witness of the truth and they know (him)" (43:86)

"We did not send a messenger but that he should be obeyed by Allah's permission; and had they, when they had done injustice to themselves, come to you and asked Allah's forgiveness; and the messenger (also) had asked pardon for them, surely, they would have found Allah oft-returning, merciful" (4:64)"

    3:159

It is part of the Mercy of Allah that thou dost deal gently with them Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (Their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment). Then, when thou hast Taken a decision put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).

And when it is said to them: Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you, they turn back their heads and you may see them turning away while they are big with pride.

    63:5

Prophet Salih (PBUH) speaked to his dead people

So the earthquake took them unawares, and they lay prostrate in their homes in the morning! So Salih left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but ye love not good counsellors!"

    (7:78-79)

Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HF) sees our actions:

... It is your actions that Allah and His Messenger will observe: in the end will ye be brought back to Him Who knoweth what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."

    (9:94)

And say: "Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will ye be brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did." (9:105)

Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves. (2:143)

How then if We brought from each people a witness, and We brought thee as a witness against these people! (4:41)

Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make ANY that He wills to HEAR; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves.

    (35:22)

Bukhari, Tirmidhi, and many others relate, through their chain of narrators from 'Uthman ibn Hunayf, that a blind man came to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and said, "I've been afflicted in my eyesight, so please pray to Allah for me." The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Go make ablution (wudu), perform two rak'as of prayer, and then say:

"Oh Allah, I ask You and turn to You through my Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O Muhammad (Ya Muhammad), I seek your intercession with my Lord for the return of my eyesight [and in another version: "for my need, that it may be fulfilled. O Allah, grant him intercession for me"]." The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) added, "And if there is some need, do the same."

This hadith was recorded was recorded by Bukhari in his "al-Tarikh al-kabir", Ahmad (4:138 #17246-17247), Tirmidhi (hasan sahih gharib -- Da`awat Ch. 119), Nasa'i (`Amal al-yawm wa al-laylat p. 417-418 #658-660), al-Hakim (1:313, 1:526), Tabarani in al-Kabir, and rigorously authenticated as sound (sahih) by nearly fifteen hadith masters including Ibn Hajar, Dhahabi, Shawkani, and Ibn Taymiyya.] by Ibn Majah in his Sunan (Book of Iqamat al-salat wa al-sunnat, Ch. on Salat al-hajat #1385), where he said it was rigorously authenticated (SAHIH), by Nasa'i in "Amal al-yawm wa al-layla", by Abu Nu'aym in "Ma'rifa al-Sahaba", by Baihaqi in "Dala'il al-nubuwwa", by Mundhiri in "al-Targhib wa al-tahrib", by Haythami in "Majma' al zawa'id wa manba' al-fawa'id", by Tabarani in "al-Mu'jam al-kabir", by Ibn Khuzayma in his "Sahih", and by others. Nearly 15 hadith masters have conformed that this hadith is Sahih.

It has been narrated in Sahih al Bukhari by Anas, “Whenever drought threatened them, 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, used to ask Al-Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib to invoke Allah for rain. He used to say,

"O Allah! We used to ask our Prophet to invoke You for rain, and You would bless us with rain, and now we ask his uncle to invoke You for rain. O Allah ! Bless us with rain." And so it would rain.

Tafseer Durre Manthur, by Imam of Ahl'ul Sunnah al Hafidh Jaladeen Suyuti:

"Hadhrath 'Ali narrates that he asked Rasulullah 'Which words did Allah (swt) teach Adam. He (swt) replied 'O Allah I seek repentance through Muhammad and his family".

"Ibn al Najjar narrates that Ibn Abbas asked Rasulullah (s) in connection with the above matter, and Rasul (s) stated, Adam send "Through Muhammad, 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husayn, please accept my repentance. Allah (swt) then accepted his repentance".

Ibn Abi'l-Hadid Mu'tazali, one of the highly respected Mutazzali ulema, says in his Commentary of Nahju'l Balagha, that "Sayyida Fatima Zahra referred to the meaning of this verse in the presence of the Muhajirs and Ansars, while delivering her address in connection with the usurpation of her estate of Fadak, in these words:

"I praise Allah for Whose Dignity and Light the residents of the skies and the earth seek means of approach towards Him. Amoung His creation we are the means of approach."

Ibn Abi'l-Hadid Mu'tazali, Sharhe Nahju'l Balagha, Volume IV, page 79

This saying is coming from a person who Allah (SWT) has said regarding her and her family in Chapter of Al-Ahzab: "Verily Allah intends but to keep off from you (every kind of) uncleanliness, O you the people of the house, and purify you with a thorough purification.

    Quran, Chapter 33, Al-Ahzab, Verse 33.

@ Bassil: Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates: Rasulullah (SAW) came to us and said: Take protection with your shields! Sahabah (Prophet's companions) asked: O Rasulullah! is there a threat of some enemy coming? He said: Take protection with your shields against the Fire (of Hell)! Say, Subhanallah (Allah is flawless), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (None is worthy of worship but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). On the Day of Resurrection, these words will come from the front, back, right and left (defence from all sides) of the one who had recited them, and ensure deliverence for him, and these are those good deeds for which the reward will be given eternally. salam bro,

not only do they have it shirk - but look at their own sunni king of saudi:

    http://www.islamimehfil.info/uploads/monthly_08_20...

according to them, it is shirk making dua in front of graves. Then didn't the saudi king and his crowd just go raise their hands in dua in front of Prophet Muhammad(saaw)'s grave?

Doesn't that mean they comitted 'shirk'?! And yet they accuse shi'a of apparently comitting 'shirk'!

Hypocrisy at it's highest degree. Sigh, their wahabi logic amazes me.
